Your Weird Friend Knows More Than She Lets On

A by-product of this global awakening phenomena is that the number of people who have become the Weird Friend (or family member) in their social circle is increasing by the day. Some of us have been in that position all our lives, some for the last few years, and others only recently. A trait most of us Weird Friends develop, immediately or eventually, is the wisdom to not tell everyone everything we know.

It is not because we do not want to. Believe me, we all wish we could. Some have chosen to go down that path, likely at great cost to their personal and professional well-being. The rest of us have learned to pick and choose what we say, based on the consciousness of our audience. The current state of the world is such that when you tell someone something they are not ready to hear, that they do not want to hear, and that challenges their view of reality, often their response is to gaslight, ridicule, or worse – to attack you. “Kill the messenger” is trending worldwide at the moment.

So if you have a Weird Friend, keep this in mind – whatever he or she is trying to tell you, it is only the tip of the iceberg. And if you wish to know more… all you have to do is ask.
